This is a pink striped Teddy Bear Sleeper. The fabric is terry towel. This sleeper is missing one pom pom. The whole outfit fastens with velcro, making it a bit of a “tricky” outfit to put on cpks without catching their fabric bodies.
The Teddy Bear Sleeper is outfit 2 of the 19 original outfits produced for cpks in 1983. This particular outfit seemed to only be made in 1983 and was possibly only found on bald cpks, which makes it harder to find. The outfit usually had pom-poms on the feet, came in solid white, yellow, pink and blue, along with striped variations of the pink, yellow and blue. Some had lace trim. The original outfits were numbered 1-20, but there is no 19.
